Welcome to TBP, a leader in redefining mental health and behavior.

Digging Deeper. Healing Smarter. Moving Mountains.

Our Approach

At The Beta Program, our goal is to change the way we view mental health and behavior. Traditional clinical approaches often target surface level behaviors and symptoms. While some are effective, they are also often a temporary “fix” and are diagnostic focused. Instead, we see behaviors and symptoms as the brain communicating needs unique to each person. Our root cause approach is designed to support, and discover, what might be underneath the symptoms we see on the surface.

We also know that mental health and behavioral supports for special populations are extremely limited. TBP strives to provide comprehensive, individualized programming for children and teens with confirmed or suspected medical complexities, brain and birth injuries, rare and ultra rare disorders, Autism, PANS/PANDAS, neuro infection, and siblings. We feel strongly that a root cause approach is important for these warriors too, because a medical, genetic, or developmental diagnosis shouldn’t have to be supported separately from a mental health or behavioral one.

Providing you with a safe space to relax

The Beta Program was designed to be a safe haven for everyone. TBP looks like home, not a clinic. Our space offers multiple entrances (and even hidden doors!) for those who seek additional privacy, and while we have two dedicated sensory spaces, every room is equipped with interactive projection systems - allowing you to breathe, relax, and visit the ocean during your therapy sessions. For our sensory sensitive families, our building incorporates sound abatement throughout, a variety of lighting, quiet nooks, and numerous sensory opportunities. Additional features are in place for those with visual impairments, TBI or CVI. The best part? TBP was designed to incorporate supports and accommodations flawlessly into an existing historical home. While the building houses numerous elements to help our families feel safe, the majority are hidden in plain sight
